Roll Call

After seeing the success of GKnee's roll-call, I've decided to do one of my own. In addition to indicating that you have read this post... please also indicate whether or not you had anything to do with (or have any pertinent information regarding) the saran-wrapping of my car last evening. I have a pretty good idea of who reads my blog, so any of you that do not respond in a timely fashion will be presumed guilty. :) (M.E., Wendles, Gknee, Jodi, Dana, Abby.... you are at the top of the list) Retribution will be swift and just.

I was a victim too! Righteous retribution will be had! The guilty girls will be found out, their subterfuges can't last long...

Hey! We already had this discussion at lunch! I am INNOCENT. I did not saran wrap anyone's car. Why am I still at the top of the list? :( (sniff...sniff..no one ever believe ME.)

ME: Here's an electronic tissue... OK, MAYBE you did not saran wrap anyone's car. BUT, you did admit to being an accomplice.

Mel Eik said...

And Marshall, what exactly is meant by "righteous retribution"? That you will let the Lord take vengence?

Mel Eik said...

I admitted NOTHING! Don't even try to play that card.

I hear you had Lee try to intimidate some of friends tonight. That was low...and extremely ineffective. (Like Lee is supposed to be scary?)

I'm here!
P.S. I don't know ANYONE who would do something like that to your car!!!

Righteous - adjective: morally justified

The Rock Star said...

Let me help you, Marshall!! :)

right·eous
1. characterized by uprightness or morality: a righteous observance of the law.
2. morally right or justifiable: righteous indignation.
3. acting in an upright, moral way; virtuous: a righteous and godly person.
4. Slang. absolutely genuine or wonderful: some righteous playing by a jazz great.
5. Referring to drugs. As in: This righteous doobie I'm smokin'.
–noun 6. the righteous, (used with a plural verb) righteous persons collectively.

Righteous, eh? Like the brothers? Have you brothers lost that loving feeling?

I am only commenting per request Matt. I'm still a little fuzzy about what everyone is talking about. Can someone explain what went on Saturday night?

I have an air tight alibe for Saturday night! Though I was at the Union that night, Brent and about 75 of my fellow employees, WILL vouch for me. :) Matt you may want to start your finger pointing with Lee...he called a lady in the class asking if any of the ladies would like to join you guys at the Union. He is the one the gave your location away!

Hey Matt - although I understand the guilt by association issue, I'm typically not a prankster at heart. And you know I was with the fam, screaming my head off at the ball game, etc. Man that was a great game! Boiler-up!

Jodi said...

I just wanted to let you know that I did not even touch your car. Melissa and I cut out early... I'm not really into that pranking stuff. You are going to have look elsewhere to make accusations such as that.

cut out *early* huh?
hmm...

Honestly, guys, how in the world would any girls know what your cars look like anyway??...sheesh...if you ask me, maybe you should be thinking about what GUYS watch for cars other guys drive...duh.

Dana said...

What does it say about my birthday for you guys to assume that we would celebrate it by apparently attacking said cars? Can't we ladies have a nice girls night without being the first ones accused of such debauchery?

Mel Eik said...

Dana- Nice rebuttal. That was poetic!

In response to GKnee's comment about knowing what we drive, how hard can it be. Marshall's car is very unique, my Jimmy is very unique with all of it's wonderful rust, Steven's car is too obvious with his Carolina plate, and Matt & Eric's vehicles where at their apartment. :)-

I'd also like to make this comment again. Anyone can do whatever they want to my Jimmy to prank me, but PLEASE don't do anything to the Mustang when I get it out again. It's not an idol thing, I just work very hard to keep the car nice and don't want anything to happen to it.

thank you!!!!!!

Pete...sounds like an idol to me...

Petey said...

Come on now. You don't understand how much work I've put into that car to get it to where it is. :)

maybe an idol of the "Golden Calf" variety?? ;)

Sound like Pete was trying to be a GOOD STEWARD of his possessions is all!
